Why it’s time to bloom

I’m sharing this photo of a bouquet of gladiolas in my home.  I was trying to think of a topic for a blog post when the bouquet of flowers sitting right in front of me caught my attention.  Since  I was away for a few days, some of the flowers had naturally begun to fade,  yet some of them had kept blooming…

What a lovely surprise!

It hit me that this was a great metaphor for what we’re all going through.

We are moving into new territory, a new era, the age of Light.

We are being called to letting old parts of ourselves fade away, while newer parts, the ones connected to our hearts and to our higher selves, continue to emerge.

The awakening (or blooming process, however you wish to call it,) is not a simple process. Letting go of past versions of ourselves, the negative stories and disempowering ones can be chalenging. Maybe we used this as an excuse to remain stuck in lives that were confortable… We may have used this role as a way to play “small.” We may have spent our entire lives trying to “control” outcomes, and are frankly exhausted by all of it.

It’s time to reclaim our power.

We acheive this by alllowing ourselves heal and integreate those parts that no longer resonate. To embrace this and not push it away.

In order to fully move forward in this new earth, we must fully accept our past, forgive others and ourselves, and accept the fact that all those experiences were making us much stronger than before.

We must move forward with open hearts, tons of compassion and vibrate at the frequency of love.

You may have felt the change a long time ago or maybe you are only feeling it now.  Whatever the case may be, these high vibrations are asking us to view the world and the part we play in it in a different fashion. With empathy, awareness and kindness.

If you have felt that this worlds was unfair.

If you have felt disenchanted or disenfranchised.

If you have felt that the Universe or God had passed you by.

I have good news: things are are changing… For the better, despite current appearances. It is time to rejoice! Just keeo looking for the marvelous and the miraculous. It truly is everywhere: the signs are all around.

If the world looks to be in chaos at the moment, it’s because old structures are collapsing to make way for one that are built on a new set of foundations: equality, fairness and love.

I invite you to remain strong, to believe in the good of this world, and most importantly, to be like the gladiola, and to keep on blooming.
