Earth Day was April 22nd, and Mother Nature has been calling for us to pay more attention to help her find balance.
The weather has been unpredictable in most parts of the world and will continue to be unless we all come together to create more harmony.
Let’s help mama earth regenerate herself in these easy and fun ways:
1. Shop second hand for your spring wardrobe and home accessories. I found these fun and colorful accessories for my porch and deck. I will add a plant to the lovely teapot and the cushions will add a pop of color.
I’m always amazed by the incredible finds that are waiting for me in thrift stores. It’s great for our budget and even better for the planet!
2. Donate what you no longer use or wear. Every season, I gather what I no longer wear and donate it to the local thrift stores. I love seeing things move and circulate!
3. Find new ways to use and repurpose (or fix) what you already own.

4. Shop from companies or local suppliers that pay attention to details such as packaging. I personally love a designer who sends me an order in plastic-free wrapping and compost friendly packages. Tamga Designs, a Canadian brand, really has exquisite eco-friendly packaging.
5. Organize a clothing swap with friends or attend a second hand shopping event like the one organized by Reluxe in Montreal where all the proceeds will go to fund a women’s shelter. I have found wonderful pieces at this fantastic event!
